After a long wet and windy January it was nice to see the calendar change to February with hopes of spring in the air. But to date it is clear winter is not over! January broke all kinds of weather records, rain and wind storms, freezing temperatures and snow. The storms and huge amounts of rain have caused rivers to overflow and with dangerous flooding in many areas of Vancouver Island and the mainland.
The daffodils and crocuses are poking their heads and promising that spring is just around the corner. Watch for some more spring like photos in the near future!
